Well, we just had our first scheduled weekday raid this last thursday (1/7/10). And while we got off to a slow start, it was (imho at least) a success. We managed to get 10 people, even though we did have to pug a couple of spots. While we didn't score any loot, we did at least get a taste of ICC-10 combat and some rep.
I don't know about you guys, but i want that rep. I'd like to continue to rep farm that place to at least honored. This in conjunction with a LOT of gold will get me the pattern for the ice arrows. All the hunters in the guild will want those arrows, and they are crazy cheap to make once you have the pattern. _________________

Sorry, I was passed out on the Couch. I took Thursday off from work because I've been feeling exhausted. Rusen called that night and I mumbled something link "Lleave me the 'F' alone I'm sleeping". Sorry. Also, looked like we were Short about 3 people for Saturday raid and Zelphar was locked out of ToC. I really want us to Get ing to ToC for the Trophies, so let's try it again this week.
Classes start for me (Mon & Wed Jan 11 - May 7), and there's the obligatory study & Lab time. So I'll squeeze into WoW when I can. Also, either end of the month or first of Feb I wanna go to Florida and try and catch a Shuttle launch.

Well, if we want Trophies, we need to do the 25-man ToC, or 10-ToGC. They don't drop in 10-man ToC. But other gear drops, that is pretty darn good, which will help us get to ICC. _________________ Z

Yeah, the ICC run was strictly for rep. We had no chance to down a boss, we were simply too lacking in pretty much everything. I agree we need to hit TOC on the weekends, or continue with ulduar either one. _________________

I honestly think we should forget about Ulduar as our main raid, for 2 reasons.
1) Most, if not all of the people that will be raiding are geared past Ulduar, so they will not be getting anything from there other than badges, which can just as easily be gained from heroics.
2) It is too long of an instance compared to ToC and even Naxx. We spend a lot of time on the first few bosses, and might get to a new boss once a week, either because of bad luck with wipes or late starts or whatever.
I'm all for seeing everything in Ulduar, and would very much love to do so, but at the same time I think as a guild we are at a point that Ulduar is only for experiencing the bosses and not so much for improving the guild to keep up with content. Yes we might have a couple of people that can use gear from Ulduar, but since they've made getting triumph badges so easy, they can just as easily get the badge gear, which is better than Ulduar gear.

Hehe. No argument from me either.
On a positive note, managed to get into an ICC rep raid tuesday night. Made it all the way the friendly, and half way to honored. Trust me, getting friendly is a GOOD thing. There is a quest to get a ring once you get friendly, and it is a VERY nice ring.
Think back to Kharazan, remember how kick butt THAT ring was? Same for this one. The one i got has 80agil, 70 stam, and +crit, +AP, and i think some +hit on it. And since there are rings for all classes/types, there is bound to be something nice for you too. _________________
