Two New Playable Races
Adventure as one of two new races--the cursed worgen with the Alliance or the resourceful goblins with the Horde.
Level Cap Increased to 85
Earn new abilities, tap into new talents, and progress through the path system, a new way for players to improve characters.
Classic Zones Remade
Familiar zones across the original continents of Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms have been altered forever and updated with new content, from the devastated Badlands to the broken Barrens, which has been sundered in two.

Explore newly opened parts of the world, including Uldum, Grim Batol, and the great Sunken City of Vashj'ir beneath the sea.

Guild Advancement

Flying mounts should have happened long before now. But it is still good news. But it will be sad to lose parts of azeroth forever. I can still vividly remember my first visits to many of the zones. The "oh wow!" moments finding not only game important places, but just places that looked neat.
Actually looking forward to the new races. Worgen all the way! Funny thing is, they already have the models for them, i'm betting they will look just like the wolvar in sholazar basin, seeing as how they already have player models for them. I will most probably be making a wolvar at some point (as an archeologist).
Which means i need to get off my lazy butt and level densie up to 80. and nekoneko too, as far as that goes. Too bad i hate levelling with a passion of a thousand suns! _________________

There is actually a model out from Blizzcon that shows a Tuaren Pally, but I am wondering if nothing is sacred. Such as Night Elf mages and locks. Cause I mean that caused the Cataclysm as it was Xavius devling into magic power from the well and we all know the most famous night elf sorcerer, Illdian.
I hope that they don't go hog wild with adding races and classes together. They should keep some things sacred that is the long history and lore of the game. I understand it is thiers but gimme a break. How did Tuarens get the ability to access the light.
Now gnome priests don't bother me at all. I think all races should have warriors, priests, and maybe hunters in them. It would make basic survival for the race easy. But no all races should have shamans, pallies, mages, rogues, etc...Tuaren Rogue backstabs you...like he could stealth with those big ass hooves. _________________

LOL! Funny enough, this has been a running joke with me, my brother, and my cousin for a long time. What would happen if Taurens were allowed to make Rogues. All the mobs will be like "What the hell is that noise??" as the Tauren tries to stealth to them. And also, you know how you hear that noise when a stealth person is close to you? Well, with a Tauren, it would be a boom instead of the light sound... lol And then there is the hooves... if a Tauren is trying to be invis, he is going to leave some indentations in the ground where he was walking...lol
But I agree, some races/classes should not be mixing. Like an Undead Paladin, or a Draenei Druid... They need to keep some sort of seperation between races and classes. What will be the point if you can choose any class for any race? Then you are just basically picking the race for the looks or the very small racial abilities. But then again, the way Blizz has been going, what with giving in to all the QQ, I wouldn't be surprised if they let you mix any race/class, and give all classes healing abilites, and all races tanking abilites. Thats the way it seems to be heading anyway.
As far as the rest of the notes, I am looking forward to some of them, dreading the others, but really have no say in anything, so I'll play as I have been, and deal with it until it gets to a point that I cannot take the crap anymore. I hope it never reaches that point. _________________ Z

The one that baffles me the most is night elf mages. I can get Tauren paladins...sort of. If Blood Elves stole the power they could pass it on to Tauren... but how are they going to allow Night Elves to use the arcane... it has gone against everything they stand for to this point. Should be interesting to see their explanation anyway.
Human hunters is an interesting one too. I guess the Blightcaller thing has blown over since we killed him. _________________

Well see Blizzard has a blue post not all classes and races will be combined only certain ones. It was posted by Ghostcrawler for example that Moon Cows are getting no new classes cause they think they are fine as is.
Yeah Night Elf mages caued the well of eternity to blow up and caused the burning legion to enter the world....doubt they will do that. _________________
