In the 3.3.3 game files Blizzard added some more hints of the pre-Cataclysm event that will involve the re-taking of a section of Gnomeregan, the Echo Isles, and the Twilight Hammer attacking Orgrimmar and Stormwind.
The main event starts with a new Doomsday Cult spreading rumors about the coming end of Azeroth and it is up to the players to infiltrate the cult to find who is behind it. The quests are relatively similar between both factions with just different NPC's. Several doodads for the event were added and they can be found in the gallery here. The following in the main quest chain that ends with everyone finding out who is leading the Twilight Hammer. _________________
